Control phase: back to business as usual

The control phase involves the activities of transferring the project back to line management's care, and rounding out the learnings and next steps arising from the project.

At the end of the Control phase:

  • The process should be back under the full control of "business as usual" line management;
  • Relevant learnings should have been captured and disseminated;
  • Adjacent opportunities should be identified and actioned;
  • The project team should be released from ties to this project.
